Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: 30 August 2026

Lakeside Keswick is an independent website. We are not the official Keswick or Lake District tourism authority, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by any such body.

How we make money

Some links on this website — particularly on accommodation pages — are affiliate links. If you click through to a partner site (such as Booking.com or Agoda) and make a booking, we may receive a small commission. This comes at no additional cost to you; the price you pay is the same whether or not you use our link.

How we choose what to recommend

Our editorial content — descriptions, pros and cons, and recommendations — is written independently of any commercial relationship. Whether a property has an affiliate link does not determine whether we cover it or how positively we describe it. Where multiple booking partners are available for a property, we display them so you can compare and choose.

Outbound link tracking

When you click a "Check availability" or similar button, you're taken via an internal link (starting /go/) that records the click before redirecting you to the partner's website. This helps us understand which pages and partners are useful to visitors. We do not collect more personal information than necessary for this purpose — see our Privacy Policy for details.
